Sanskrit Primer 2.0 is now available!

February 25, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

Sanskrit Primer 2.0 is now available both on iOS/iPhone and Android. This release includes the Dhatupatha which is a listing of all the verbal roots (~2000) available in Sanskrit. This is also a veritable treasure trove for etymologists of the Indo-European family of languages. A large number of the words in these languages (especially Indian languages) can be traced back to these roots.

The dhatus/roots have been arranged alphabetically to aid in quick lookup. The english meanings have also been provided for all these roots.

27MB on an Android phone is a challenge :) can you please make this installable on the SD card?

Good luck with all your efforts.

Oops? My mistake. The app needed 27MB free space to install on my phone. However, it can be moved to the SD card, leaving only 100kb in the phone memory.

      Thanks
